Battery Replacement Procedure Salvation 1, 3 and 9 Helicopter

Tools needed:
-Small headed screw driver
-Soldering Iron

 

Replacing Battery:

Step 1) Remove blades, axial (Refer to procedure used when replacing blades) and nose cone making sure you do not lose small screws.

Step 2) Remove seat and battery from helicopter. DO NOT DETACH BATTERY TOTALLY.

Step 3) After removing masking tape from battery you will notice two wires (black and red) which connect the battery to the outer circuit board. Diagram 1

Step 4) Using the soldering iron, remove both wires from the circuit board and remove damaged battery from unit.

Step 5) Again, using soldering iron attach new battery red attach (+ )and black attach ( - )

Step 6) Once the battery has been securely fitted turn helicopter ‘ON' to ensure battery is fitted correctly

Step 7) Replace parts.
