Tail and Boom Replacement Procedure Salvation 1, 3 and 9

Tools needed:

-Small headed screw driver
-Soldering Iron

 

Replacing Tail Boom and Motor:

Step 1) Remove blades, axial (Refer to procedure when changing blades) and nose cones making sure you do not lose small screws.

Step 2) Remove all screws above and below the body and then remove both nose cone and skids (this makes it easier to replace part)

Step 3) Remove the motors and circuit board from the casing with care.

Step 4) You will notice two fine colored wires (gold and red) which attach tail boom to the circuit board. Diagram 1

Step 5) Using the soldering iron remove both wires from the circuit board
Step 6) Again, using soldering iron, replace with new tail boom ensuring red wire is fixed to +ve mark and gold to -ve mark on circuit board.

 

Note: Once securely fitted ensure motor is working correctly before refitting case.
